The Story Behind the Brand
Atelier & Co was founded by Gillian Charnley, a former corporate executive who traded boardrooms for botanical distillation, and contracts for connection. After years of leading high-pressure sourcing operations in the built environment sector — navigating endless meetings, global stakeholders, and mounting expectations — something shifted. The glow was gone. Both in life and in skin.
Faced with chronic stress, skin sensitivity, and the gnawing feeling of being out of alignment, Gillian turned inward — and outward, to nature. What began as a personal ritual — pressing wildflower oils into her cheeks each night, hand-blending hydrosols in a cottage kitchen — became a transformative calling.
Atelier & Co was born from the cracks. From resilience. From a belief that true beauty is cyclical, seasonal, and sacred.
